“What board shapes would make surfing more fun?” That was the only question that mattered.
Fun Day Surf started by doing things the right way. We partnered with local shapers to design and refine each board shape, first as real hard surfboards, sent straight to Jamie O’Brien to test and ride. No shortcuts. No assumptions.
Once Jamie was fully psyched on a shape, we moved into soft-top prototype production. Then we took those prototypes to the North Shore of Oahu, one of the most demanding proving grounds in the world. Boards were pushed in powerful surf, adjusted, cut open, modified, and rebuilt.
Some passed. Some didn’t. We refined everything until it made sense.
The result? Soft boards that don’t just look fun, they’re built to perform and last.
